Bed Bugs were almost eradicated from this country in the 70's through the end of the 90's
they are back and becoming a real problem in apartments, hotels, and other places where people live, work and sleep.
the Bed Bug adult is about the size of an apple seed, they are blood feeders, the female will lay about 500 eggs in her lifetime
or about 5 per day, they can survive for up to 18 months without feeding. the adult male Bed Bug will pierce the female anywhere
he can on her back to reproduce. there is 5 stages of development from the first instars to adult. they need to consume a blood meal
before molting to the next level of development.
Treatment of Bed Bugs needs to be very thorough and should not be attempted by untrained persons.
"Green" service can be done for bed bugs but is not recommended due to the time and costs associated with eradicating the pest.
